#KODI SHUTDOWN TIMER MOD#
This is a simple process to achieve by a quick mod to the cmdline.txt file. I have 3/4 Raspberry Pi's and also use LibreElec and run them from a HDD or mSata for much quicker speeds. GadgetMan wrote:Thanks for the excellent work to date on the C2 version of LibreElec, love it having installed yesterday. So is there a way to boot from my SD card and run the OS from the SSD once booted? (like with the Pi) I know it's possible on other OS as there is a Cloudshell for the XU4 that I'm going to get, just wanted to know if it was possible to have my SSD/HDD running my C2 with LE? (Doing this on the Pi2 and Pi3 made a noticeable difference in speed when loading menus, thumbnails and installing addons etc) If someone could tell me if this is possible and point me in the right direction, I'd be very grateful. My question is, can I do something similar with LE for the C2? I currently run off a SD (UHS1) and know a eMMC will be faster than a SD Card, however I have a SSD I wanted to use and several HDD's lying around. Thanks for the excellent work to date on the C2 version of LibreElec, love it having installed yesterday. I admit that a usb drive with the system may complicate a setup, but in the future (not to far I hope) transmission and sickrage, couchpotato will be working on libreelec, in this case put the system files direct on the HD is a best solution than having to copy every download from the sd to the drive itself. External USB drives will not be faster either and will complicate a setup.

If streaming video like Live TV though a buffer in kept in the C2's onboard DDR3 SDRAM so SD cards or eMMC's won't make a huge difference.

Kodi > Settings > Video > Acceleration > Accelerate MPEG2 > 720p and upįaster micro SDHC cards like UHS1 or Class 10 Samsung EVO+ or Sandisk make LibreELEC run a bit faster in day to day operations. I did as you sugest, I use the guide from the 1st post, now I use my receiver remote control on Odroid.ĭo you know anything about Transmission or rtorrent working on this LibreElec?Īnd for those using 480/576i mpeg2 TV streams:
#KODI SHUTDOWN TIMER UPDATE#
Having said that, here is the Fixer Update that i still have: You are going to have to put some effort into customising your own LE yourself from this point onwards with the Kodi Keymap Editor addon. This involves pulling out HDMI CEC Kernel patches, libCEC patches, Kodi patches, reconfiguring and running Special custom LE versions and fragmenting the future releases. I need it to quickly select subtitles and audio Is there any chance to get previus version of LibreELEC? Thank you. I tried again with libcec enabled but even with remote.xml the middle button doesn't work.
